We are Jake and Nickie Gladdish. Together we run J G Home Improvements Ltd and Bay Studios Interior Design.

meet

We start every project with a consultation to discuss your needs and goals. From there, we develop a detailed plan of your project that outlines the scope, the timeline, and the budget. Once you confirm you would like us to work for you, we will schedule your job in and get started on preparing the exciting bit!

architectural

Depending on the scope of your project, if you need the services of an architect we can put you in touch with experienced, talented architects who can discuss with you your needs and how to the get the most out of your property. They will then produce detailed plans and once you are happy they will submit them to planning, following them through to approval.

structural

We work closely with a highly experienced structural engineer and can put you in touch OR we can liaise with him to design any structural requirements you have.

If the work needs to be submitted for building regulations we will arrange this and will undertake all communication with the building inspector throughout the project.

design

Once you have your architectural plans finalised we can work with you on space planning and designing the interior details. We will draw up beautiful, complete design options for you and will present them to you, explaining through all the details. We will then make any necessary amends and once we have the perfect solution for your space we will source and order all fixtures and fittings.

installation

Our small, tight team, will undertake every element of the project and you will always know the faces on site working on your job. Great communication is important to us and we will keep you informed of how the project is progressing at every step of the way. If you have any questions or requests, either Jake or myself are the only people you will need to talk to to ensure you get exactly what you want.
